Red Flag Days- MORNING Arrival:

During inclement weather, we will post RED FLAG signs in windows so parents know it is a RED FLAG day.  Instead of entering through outside classroom doors, students may enter through the following doors DURING RED FLAG days:

 

Door 2 (Near Preschool on Lucas & Belmont area)

Door 4 (Near back loop by the Gym)

Door 5 (Front of the building near staff parking lot)

 

ALL students will enter through these designated doors starting at 8:05am.  Teachers will be in their classrooms welcoming students from 8:05 to 8:15.   Any student who arrives after the tardy bell @ 8:20 will need to obtain a TARDY slip from the office.   Only students who arrive after the TARDY bell @ 8:20 will be marked Tardy.  

 

It is extremely important that students arrive to school No Earlier than 8:05am and are picked up No Later than 3:35pm Monday –Thursday and picked up by 1:55 on Fridays.  



Title I Family Night-Math Night:

Our next Family night will be held on Tuesday, December 6th @ 5:30pm in the Media.  Teachers will share Math strategies to help support our Common Core Standards.  These strategies can be used at home to support your child in the area of Math.   Please join us for this important occasion and learn how to support your child at home.


2nd Grade Vocal Music Performance:

Our next Vocal Music Performance will be held in conjunction with Title I Family Night on Tuesday, December 6th @ 6:00pm.  Please join us for Title I Family Math Night and stay for the 2nd grade Performance.


Shop ‘Til You Drop- Parent’s Night Out

Drop off your student at 5:00 pm and spend 2 hours Christmas shopping.  We will have a showing of Zootopia in the gym.  Each child will be given a bag of popcorn and a bottle of water.   This event will take place on Monday, December 12, 2016 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm and the cost will be $5 per student.  All students must attend Heritage Elementary in order to participate.

ALL STUDENTS MUST BE PICKED UP BY 7:00!


Angel Tree Assistance:

Reminder:  For those families that signed up for Angel Tree Assistance, your pickup date, time and location is as follows:


Date:  Wednesday, December 21, 2016

Time:  9 am - 2 pm

Location:  401 S. Prairie (Corner of Prairie and Thatcher)


If you need holiday assistance and did not get signed up for this program, please contact Mrs. Borrego at 595-4115 to discuss other options for holiday assistance.
